TEHRAN, Dec. 6 (Xinhua) -- Iran's Foreign Ministry on Tuesday refuted the spying charges by Saudi Arabia as politically-motivated and unfounded allegations, semi-official ISNA news agency reported.

"The Islamic republic has never had non-diplomatic activities in Saudi Arabia, and baseless and unfounded charges are politically-motivated and lies," Bahram Qasemi said in a reaction to a recent verdict by a Saudi court against some people on charges of spying for Iran.

"Saudi Arabia should not seek to accuse Iran of unsubstantiated charges for some political gains and raising tension in the region," he said, adding that fabricating such allegations is not in the interests of the region.

A Saudi court on Tuesday sentenced 15 people to death on charges of spying for Iran, Al Arabiya news reported.

The convicts are part of a network of 32 people. Two were acquitted and 15 others were handed down jail terms ranging from six months to 25 years, the report said.

Saudi Arabia has been accusing Iran of standing behind regional disturbances by interfering in the internal affairs of countries, such as Bahrain and Yemen, allegations that have been dismissed by Iran.

Saudi Arabia cut its ties with Iran earlier this year and asked its envoy to leave the country.

NAIROBI, July 16 (Xinhua) -- At least 16 people were killed in two separate road accidents on Friday night and earlier Saturday, Kenyan police confirmed.

In the first incident, at least seven members of a single family were killed after their car collided with a truck at a black-spot along the Nakuru-Eldoret highway.

Rongai divisional police commander Joseph Mwamburi said on Saturday that the fatal collision occurred at Salgaa area at 2:00 a.m., claiming the lives of a man, his son, daughter, daughter in-law and three grandchildren.

"The accident occurred when the saloon car attempted to overtake the lorry. The seven occupants perished on the spot with the trucks occupants escaping with minor injuries," Mwamburi said.

Nine more passengers perished and five others injured after a Nairobi-bound minibus belonging to Transline burst into flames after colliding head-on with a truck transport sand in Mai Mahiu, about 50 km northwest of Nairobi.

The police said the passenger vehicle from Kisii in Western Kenya went up in flames killing nine people after colliding with the truck which had stalled on the road at around 11:00 p.m. The injured were rushed to the hospital but the driver who was also rescue has gone missing.

Road accidents still continue to occur despite stringent traffic rules which were introduced by the government to help curb road carnage.

An estimated 3,057 Kenyans died in road accidents in 2015 despite concerted efforts by the state and the private sector to promote safety on the highways, according to the National Transport Safety Authority (NTSA).

TOKYO Nike Air Jordan Retro Shoes For Sale , May 21 (Xinhua) -- Japan's Nikkei stock lost 0.24 percent as the yen's rise impacted exporters and Wall Street's losses overnight did little to inspire the market ahead of the conclusion of the central bank's policy meeting.

The Nikkei Stock Average lost 33.08 points from Tuesday to close at 14,042.17, while the broader Topix index fell 3.33 points, or 0.29 percent Nike Air Jordan Retro For Sale , to finish at 1,150.05.

Brokers said that trade was thin and rangebound and with U.S. shares falling overnight, trade got off to a lackluster start. This was compounded by data from Japan's Finance Ministry released just before the markets opened showing Japan's trade deficit in April had been impacted by slowing consumer spending following the sales hike here on April 1.

According to the ministry, imports rose 3.4 percent from a year earlier NIke Air Jordan Shoes For Sale , the least in 16 months, while exports increased 5.1 percent, leaving a trade deficit of 808.9 billion yen.

With a predominant view that the central bank would stay pat on monetary policy, all hopes for further easing were dashed when the Bank of Japan (BOJ) announced after its two day policy meeting that it had no plans for further easing despite the impact of the sakes tax hike and believes the world's third-largest economy is on the right track and picking up pace.

"There has been a view that the BOJ would act sooner to surprise the market Nike Air Jordan For Sale , but that prospect is gradually diminishing. It's no surprise they kept policy unchanged," said Yusuke Kuwayama, a portfolio manager at Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance Co. in Tokyo.

With the news sending the yen to 101.18 per U.S. dollar in currency trading, more investors hit the sidelines to see if the BOJ's chiefs press conference after the markets close would shed any more light on its future policy objectives.

Exporters Nike Jordan Retero Shoes For Sale , largely reliant on a weak yen to boost competitiveness and overseas profits when repatriated, came under pressure, with Canon dropping 1.31 percent to 3,296 yen Nike Jordan Retro For Sale , while Sony closed down 0.67 percent to end at 1,614 yen.

Automakers also skidded down, with Toyota Motor losing 0.9 percent to 5,420 yen while smaller rival Suzuki Motor reversed 0.4 percent to 2 Nike Jordan Shoes For Sale ,823 yen.

Construction machinery maker Komatsu lost 3.1 percent to 2,170 yen on news that Caterpillar reported its global sales had tumbled 13 percent in the first quarter compared to the same period a year earlier, and Hitachi Construction Machinery Co. fell 3.5 percent to finish at 1,811 yen.

Mobile content developer Nihon Enterprise was a notable decliner Wednesday Nike Jordan For Sale , plunging 8.8 percent to 217 yen, after the company announced it had cut its full-year net income forecast by 27 percent to 415 million yen.
